I guess the biggest thing that I have learned about myself and in general is that humility and modesty are two different things and the former is great and the latter is such bullshit.
I’m a really cute, funny, talented person with exceptional taste in music and I dress really well and I’m a good friend and I’m incredibly smart and my body/face etc are beautiful and refusing to recognize this or name it or believe it is not okay. It’s not even about comparing myself to other people but just recognizing in myself how fucking wonderful I am across the board and not being afraid of my own potential.
No one is going to give me confidence or authentic validation, I have to take it for myself and I’m going to do that.
